In addition, since partnering with our friends at Lockmasters, Inc., we now have seven distribution centers to efficiently serve your needs. We are growing to better serve our customers and their needs.

JLM Began as a family-owned business founded by Janet Mirku in 1984 in Oxford, Michigan. In 2010, Janet’s daughter Annette Baldwin served as owner and the company expanded, adding two locations in Charlotte, North Carolina and Plano, Texas.

In February of 2024, JLM Wholesale was acquired by Lockmasters, Inc. Lockmasters had also begun as a successful family-owned business that specializes in the distribution of third-party combination locks, tools and hardware to the government and security industry, as well as educational training.

The partnership has allowed both companies to expand their distribution abilities and welcomes opportunities for continued growth in the future ahead. As of April 2025, Orchard Lock Distributors and Signals Defense have been added to the Lockmasters family. Orchard Lock Distributors now serves as a division of JLM Wholesale and Signals Defense serves as a division of Lockmasters.
